People. Process. Technology. In that order.
It doesn't matter if you are a small business, large enterprise, non-profit organization, or a sole proprietor. It's all about serving the mission.
Understanding the mission is the first step. The second is understanding the current elements of an enterprise. From there a vision can be developed of future state of the enterprise, organizational, and technology architectures, as well as a plan to evolve towards that from current state.
As a practitioner at all levels I can play many roles depending on your teams needs. Having the ability to play all of them gives me greater ability to execute at a high level at any of them..
Thanks for stopping by. Reach out and we can discuss how I can serve your mission.

My current career path began in 1980 at the age of 5. I still remember that moment with perfect clarity. My father took me to his office and showed me a green screen. "That's a computer. Get used to them. By the time you are working they are going to be everywhere".
It's been 45 years since that day. I spent the next twenty years preparing for a career in IT. Then I spent the next twenty-five years working on and around information technology with small, medium, and enterprise businesses. I've played a variety of roles from project management, software development, middleware and web application server administration,
I am lucky to have been exposed to a wide variety of business and technical problems across many sectors. I have learned a lot of patterns and behaviors from a wide variety of technical and business co-collaborators and mentors. Together we've improved the alignment of technology to business by delivering IT and business process-based solutions to service business needs.
I am always looking first to understand and learn about business needs and the people, processes, and technologies. Only after confirming that understanding I offer my recommendations from both a business and technical perspective.
